What a week!

WOW… from an incredibly fabulous Easter Sunday dinner with my family, and my 93-year-old mother recovering from heart surgery well enough to be with us.

So incredibly grateful for the memory and the photos…..

Then Monday, I started on a huge event for Friday and worked 15 hour days all week prepping, cooking and baking.

No regrets, but it may have been a bit too much.

Yes it was, especially along w/five days in a row of physical therapy so I could walk properly by Friday!

Actually I loved pretty much every minute of it so I will shut up……

Friday’s Fragrance Brunch that I partnered with Dillards department store was off the charts; three floors and 300 people. LMAO. (literally was not a bite of food was left…)

And SOLD OUT all of my favorite Tom Ford Eau de Soleil Blanc. (Of course Badgley Mishkas’ Viscaya did just as well….) And the new Chanel was a huge hit as well.

It literally took 72 hours of prep, but it was all worth it. Not to sound stuck up, but everybody said it was Five-Star. The favorite appetizer was little Smokies, wrapped in maple bacon and seared with a blackberry sage jalapeño conserve. To.Die.For.

OMG It truly took a village though.

I slept all day yesterday because I needed to, but this morning woke up fresh and invigorated and went to the stadium with Bobo so he could run and I just found myself thinking about how much has happened in just six months since I was there for Jingle. What a roller coaster ride; Lordy Lordy!!!

And here comes 63 in less than a month. It feels unbelievable saying that. WOW.

LOL but I should shut up because it beats the alternative I guess!
