Palm Sunday morning in the Garden…

Not exactly sure how an 80° day came into the mix, but I’ll take it…
Another week of spring has come and gone and seeing the garden, starting to come to fruition, is a welcome. (and just because I could), I planted a vignette of corn, over a dozen varieties of sunflowers, sweet peas, rainbow carrots (for a Carrot Wellington of course…) chioga beets, rosemary, nasturtium, black-eyed Susan vine, moonflowers, and morning glories. (& a few gooseberry bushes on the side…)

And much to be thankful for this week; my mom’s surgery went extremely well and she’s recovering nicely.
I have a 12 week knee rehabilitation plan in place, and other than more than alittle wobble, and some twinges of pain, I’ll be walking a father’s Day fashion show runway again ( just in time)!!!
So in the spirit of never knowing what LIES AHEAD (no pun intended ) and just having to trust this process at this point in the world we are living in this surreal moment in time, well there is some solace in that I guess.
All I really need to do is contemplate this weeks’ color story for my Easter eggs…
For now, I’m focusing on world peace, Easter baskets, Easter bonnets, and Easter menus. And maybe white chocolate strawberries at the moment… and some new and improved glutes… just keeping it simple and real.
