Like Villi Minelli sang, “blame it on the rain” ('Cause the rain won't mind

And the rain don't care…”)

Seeing so many shades of green as well as pinks and purples and whites and blues at the lake this morning was almost overwhelming. The natural beauty truly is breathtaking.

It almost feels like a luxury brand… LOL But I digress.

I will go back for a picnic lunch w/ Bobo and do a little more foraging for some inspiration.

The week ahead, starting with my 93 year old mother‘s surgery on her aortic valve, followed by me being scheduled for surgery for three meniscus tears, might be bringing on some insecurities, but I know just like the May flowers coming ahead, I have hope and I know we have to carry on just like the seasons. Even if we have to force ourselves.

And nothing will stop me from continuing to plan and host fabulous parties and outrageous outdoor get-togethers. Whether it be midfield in a baseball stadium (that I wanna turn the “bad memories” (2024Jingle) of into inspiring ones that truly celebrate the stadium, or out on a pontoon boat on Wyandotte County Lake, well, I look forward to what’s ahead in my personal and professional entertaining worlds.

Kicking things off on April 25 have me more excited than I have been in a while to collaborate w/ luxury brands and combine passions. (LOL, even if it needs to be planned from the confines of a hospital bed…)

I also could not be more excited about this years cutting Garden.

Having fresh herbs and flowers for catering trays and centerpieces give way to authentic organic tablescaping. And add integrity to your menu planning. The majority of my events this summer will be focused on the lake and the fresh fish caught from there. I will be highlighting the rainbow trout on every menu!

Finally, last but not least, just a shout out to good skin care and taking care of ourselves not only physically, but emotionally and holistically.

Spending time in the bathroom mirror is not selfish, in fact it’s imperative. I can promise you if you don’t take care of yourself no one else will. And good batter indifferent our skin lasts forever.

The amount of organic and botanical base skin care out there is unbelievable, and the results are totally achievable. BTW, invest your time and money into medical grade skin care; not only does it work clinically and matter-of-factly, well, It’s worth every penny.

Oh, & don’t forget to trim your old tired, looking crazy eyebrows. LMAO
