Good Morning…. @4:30 a.m. baking scones and making peanut clusters LMAO, and throwing together last minute peony arrangements.

Even though I feel the world is gonna be at war or blow up or stop turning; whatever the fuck is going on, (excuse my French) ANY DAY NOW, well, I’m also sticking with tradition and keeping it real and simple.

Well, except for the floral arrangements. But I digress…….

These blog posts, which I call “Sunday morning sermons” make me have to contemplate what’s next (and what should I wear) all while I multitask like a hooker. ( re: Jersey Shore & GTL; if you know you know)…..

And… (most of the time) can make me alittle melancholy, but they also motivate me to keep thinking, learning & growing, even if I have to still take it step-by-step; day by day… literally, and physically now, due to my knee injuries, rehabilitation, co-pays and growing medical bills.

Just like everybody else right now, so I will shut up now…

WOW, dear God, these are some surreal times we are living in, but like traditions, from waking and baking, scones w/ jam I made, squeezing fresh juice, doing chores & sun salutations, actually help me to get a grip to get ready to take it on & own it, as in whatever the world is gonna throw at me. And unfortunately, somethings coming no matter what. On a lighter note, fortunately I have a really big catchers mitt and won’t miss the ball.

God knows, If I were to sit down & think about all the injustices and how ugly America is right now well, I would sit on the couch frozen and nauseous all morning.

But thankfully, I am my mothers’ son and will suck this all up because, well, I have unforgettable brunches to throw and stunning floral arrangements to create after “GTL” and still have to figure out what to wear to try to look fabulous…( just like SHE taught me my whole life) all while celebrating her, my 93 y.o. Mother, Miss Ellie.
